How to Cook/Use Broccoli
One VERY important thing that most people don’t know about broccoli, is how to cook it. You can boil broccoli but this cooks out A LOT of the nutrients. The best way to cook broccoli is to steam it. Use a steamer tool like the one below.

Roasted Broccoli
Ingredients:
– 1 head of broccoli cut into florets
– 1 teaspoon of olive oil
– a pinch of black pepper
– 1/2 clove of garlic
– 1/4 teaspoon of lemon juice
Directions:
– Preheat oven to 400 degrees F
– Toss broccoli with the oil, pepper, and garlic
– Spread broccoli onto a baking sheet
– Bake in oven for 15 to 20 minutes or until easily pierced with a fork
– Squeeze lemon juice over broccoli before serving
