Calf Raises

Before you do this exercise, please make sure you stretch appropriately to ensure you do not sustain any injury.  When you exercise, lactic acid builds up in the muscles and can cause muscle soreness and fatigue.  To make sure this doesn’t happen, you also need to stretch afterwards.  By stretching afterwards, you will also increase blood circulation in those warm muscles. See list of stretches for your calves here. (Pick one or two stretches to do until you feel like your muscles are warmed up)
