How to Cook/Eat Chia Seeds:

Chia seeds are a whole grain that is easily mixed in with almost any food or can be eaten plain.  Below are some different and tasty ways to mix in chia seeds to food you already eat (most of which you don’t even taste the chia seeds):

  • Eggs
  • Smoothies
  • Muffins
  • Homemade bread (or you can buy chia bread at Aldi’s)
  • Salad
  • Oatmeal
  • Use as a crumb coating on meat
  • Rice or quinoa
  • Pancakes and waffles
  • Soup
  • Dips
  • Yogurt (preferably Greek)
  • Homemade burgers and meatballs
  • Mixed nuts

The possibilities are endless so get creative and add chia seeds into your daily nutritional routine!
